Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to invite your child to Higbee School’s Field Day tomorrow (May 20th)– a full day of fun, teamwork, and celebration during our “Tiger Town Festival” theme! Below are all the details to help your child have a fantastic experience.
📍 Location:
All Field Day activities will take place at Higbee School, both indoors and just outside the school building. Water activities will be held directly outside the school, so a change of clothes is strongly encouraged.
🕒 Finalized Schedule (Tuesday, May 20th):

7:27–8:00 Final setup + Staff briefing
8:00–9:30 Indoor Field Day Stations (Pre-K–2nd)
9:30–10:00 Outdoor Splash Zone (Pre-K–2nd)
10:00–11:45 Clean-up/reset, Lunch break
12:00–1:45 Indoor Field Day Stations (3rd–6th)
1:45–2:15 Outdoor Splash Zone (3rd–6th)
2:15–3:00 Awards, dry time, return to class
3:00–3:17 Dismissal
🎽 What to Bring:
Change of clothes for post-water activities
Tennis shoes for running and indoor activities
Labeled water bottle
Optional: Towel, hat, or sun protection

The Junior Class will be helping run stations and keeping the day organized.
There will be a few Field Day Certificates given out to celebrate effort and Tiger Spirit!

The Higbee Tigers baseball team won the first round of district play beating Madison 10-0. They play again on Monday at 5 pm in Glasgow. They will play Northwestern/Brunswick.
Although a few left before our picture, Prek had the BEST time at the park today! Thank you to all of the adults who helped make today so much fun! 💛🖤

Third grade completed their famous Missourian research project by presenting to the second grade class today!
The FFA Banquet will take place this evening in the Higbee School Gymnasium. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and a complimentary dinner will be served beginning at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will commence promptly following dinner. We look forward to seeing everyone there in support of our exceptional students.

Tough loss on the diamond for our Varsity Tigers as they fell to the Community Trojans, 0 to 2, after 7 hard-fought innings. Our JV also came up short with a 0 to 3 loss. Go Tigers!
