Day 2 of FFA National Convention
What an awesome day full of learning, fun and adventure. We started the morning with a tour of Lincoln Tech University getting a close up look at some incredible hands-on programs. Then we headed to Traders Point dairy farm where we learned all about the process of making dairy products and the best part- free ice cream. We will wrap up the day with an exciting evening at the rodeo.

🎃👊 Halloween had us stepping into the ring today! Our educators transformed into wrestlers, ready to tag-team some fun with the kids. Lots of laughs, plenty of poses, and championship-level Halloween spirit all around! And let’s just say the 6 7 costumes worn by a couple of our educators absolutely made our elementary kiddos’ morning! 😄💪

Buckle Up, Phone Down! 🚗📱
Today our school proudly joined the Buckle Up Phone Down movement — a simple challenge that can save lives. We’re reminding everyone that safety starts with small choices: buckle your seatbelt every time and put your phone away when you drive.
Let’s all do our part to keep our roads safe for our friends, families, and community. 💛🖤

Reading in Action: Career Interviews!
In reading today, second graders worked hard conducting interviews about different jobs! Each pair chose a job and created thoughtful questions they could ask someone in that profession. Then, they rotated around the room to interview their classmates about their chosen jobs.
This activity helped students practice asking and answering questions, building comprehension skills, and making real-world connections to what we read!

Tomorrow is the last day for the book fair. We will be open before school, during school, and after school for a little while for students to shop.

Our JH teams will be in Moberly this evening. GO TIGERS!

The kindergarten thru 7th grade library classes combined their love for books with their creative side and turned pumpkins into book characters. This allowed us to explore characters, sequencing, setting, and so much more. From Pete the Cat to Harry Potter they really did a fantastic job.

Our high school students teamed up with our guidance leaders to kick off Red Ribbon Week with a special presentation for our 4th graders! They shared powerful messages about making healthy choices, staying drug-free, and supporting one another in living positive lifestyles.
We’re so proud of our Student Council leaders for being amazing role models and helping spread awareness throughout our school community. ❤️
To keep the momentum going, we’re celebrating Spirit Week all this week — each themed day reminds us to make smart, safe choices and show our commitment to living drug-free! GO TIGERS!🐾

Today, a handful of our FBLA members kicked off the Fall Leadership Conference in Columbia, Missouri! This two-day event provides students with valuable opportunities to strengthen leadership skills, collaborate with peers from across the state, and explore future career pathways.
We are especially proud that a couple of the students pictured will also represent our school later this week at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis—an impressive example of their dedication and involvement across multiple Career and Technical Education (CTE) organizations.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the community members and business supporters whose generosity makes these opportunities possible. Because of your continued support, our students are able to attend at no cost to their families, ensuring that every student has the chance to learn, grow, and lead.
Both FBLA and FFA play vital roles in helping students develop real-world skills, confidence, and leadership experience that will benefit them long after graduation. We are proud of our students for representing our school and community with excellence.
